Ms. Angie Walker, PHR, SHRM-CP, CCP

Chief Human Capital Officer

Angie’s past roles focused on strategic HR initiatives, merger & acquisition, talent acquisition and onboarding, total rewards,, and employee relations at mid-sized and Fortune 100 companies in the education and logistics industries.

Angie most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources for National University. In this role, she developed and implemented human capital strategies that included M&A transactions, organizational transformation and development initiatives, the recruitment and retention of faculty and staff, engagement and culture strategies, leadership development, and HR systems.

In addition to her experience as a hands-on HR leader, Angie holds professional human resources certifications with the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and Society of Human Resources Management, (SHRM), and is also a certified compensation professional (CCP) through World at Work. Angie is also certified in change management (Prosci) and crucial conversations (Vital Smarts). From an academic perspective, Angie obtained her Master of Business Administration from Northcentral University, and her Bachelor of Business Administration with an HR focus, from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.

Outside of work, Angie enjoys family time with her two children exploring outdoor adventures (hiking, camping, sports, etc.) and traveling whenever possible.
