Creating calm and focus

Each of our sensory systems works in a different way; because of this, our sensory needs vary. For this reason, sensory activities are individualized for each student’s needs and may include activities to help calm or alert their nervous systems to help them best focus in the academic setting.

“Austin Centers has been life saving for our daughter and our family. Their ability to manage the emotional issues is amazing.”

Parent/Guardian of Student

Our skilled occupational therapy providers collaborate with our educators to design appropriate sensory interventions to help our students regulate their nervous systems both within the sensory room and throughout the school setting.
