Therapeutic Behavior Program

At Austin Centers we emphasize building the student’s self-esteem by giving extensive positive feedback when students make the “Best Choice” and having staff build personal relationships of trust and care with each student.

Positive behavioral choices are encouraged

Students make positive behavioral choices with reliability and consistency and utilize effective strategies to control their behavior.

  • 1 Staff member for every 4 students.
  • Computerized behavior data is analyzed.
  • Student’s behavioral programs are modified frequently. Daily assessments are provided to parents and guardians.
  • 30 minutes of Social Skills instruction are given daily.

Instruction is individualized, modified and research based. All staff are rained in Trauma Informed Care, Positive Behavior Supports, and Adverse Childhood Experiences.
